March 17, 2013 – (Updated 2:01pm) So it’s St Patrick’s day, big woop. Couldn’t care less. The Irish in me would rather fight than get drunk and make a fool of myself today. Especially after getting that letter from the Republican National Committee yesterday. What a bunch of spineless wimps.
Sarah Palin all cute and funny at CPAC does nothing for America’s chances at recovering the White House. The Republican’s are no better than the other side of the isle today. Gutless and unwilling to fight dirty. This voter will not be voting Republican next time. I’m done with that crowd of wimps. Too bad states don’t have the balls to put controls on who actually gets to vote in a presidential election. Of course most people are ignorant and still believe there is a right to vote in a presidential election. There is not. Start by not allowing those on welfare to vote until they are off our backs. Nobody on extended unemployment gets to vote. Lets just make it real simple…Only income taxpaying citizens get to vote in a presidential election.
Tell me, who would you rather see running this country, a gun-toting Barbie doll or a woman who bigger balls than her husband? I’m not in support of another Clinton in the White House but if it should come down to those two, well, bend over again folks.
There will be others like, Rubio to look for in the battle, but unless something dramatic changes in the mindset of the Republican party, and I’m not holding my breath for it, my voter card will say Libertarian Party.
The Republican party no longer represents me. I will not be represented by a bunch of ass kissing, spineless wimps. That bunch has done nothing to help themselves. Hell, they couldn’t even get their fellow supporters to vote for a decent candidate. Of course that says a lot about Republican voters in general. America got what it wanted not because Obama was the better man, but because Republicans are scared to fight dirty and Americans didn’t get off their lazy asses and vote.
I’m done with that bunch of prudes. I’m done sticking up for people who worry more about gays and abortion than about our Constitution and the welfare of American citizens.
I will not be renewing my Republican membership. It’s time to return to those who actually give a damn about me and my country – the Libertarian Party. I don’t agree with everything they stand for, but for right now they are the only ones willing to fight for the America that I want to live in. -JRoycroft
March 24, 2012 - Jesse “The Sloganmaster”Jackson and Al Sharpton could use a big dose of what Kuuleme T. Stephens has to say. This my friends is a role model.

In light of the recent events that are being circulated in the media and all over the web (The Zimmerman case). In order to stop violence in the Black Community, we must educate our Black Community. Most violence in our community is Black on Black crime.
If we want to be treated as equals, we must stop behaving like thugs and animals. Respect is earned, not given. If it walks like a duck……… How can we expect anyone to see the Black Community as anything respectable when we don’t care enough about ourselves to act responsible or civil???
Black folks, this starts at home. Educate your children, teach them that there is more to life than drug dealing, stealing, violence, and rapping. Take them to church and encourage them to stay in school, bring good morals into your homes, and set a good example for our children. Teach them self-respect and personal responsibility. Stop instilling failure from the get go.
Once this begins to happen, the rest will fall into place!!!!!!
P.S. Black folk, for those of you who wish to remain ignorant and act a fool…… You’re only making it harder for those who choose to do better for themselves and the Black Community as a whole. I refuse to be taken down with you, so SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT!!!!!! Planes and boats leave the United States to Africa everyday!!! Call me self hating if you want to, but I will take being called a Race Trader, Aunt Jemima, Uncle Tom, Graham Cracker, Oreo, or any other derogatory term that people like to throw at me better than being called Ignorant, Uncivil, Uneducated, or a Thug………..
With Texas Gov Rick Perry as a possible top presidential candidate, here is the guy that would help Perry get our country back to it’s roots. Perry/Rubio – now that’s a winning ticket.
Here is a speech you are going to want to hear. You will not be disappointed. Marco Rubio speaking at the Reagan Library about the kind of America he believes in and the role of government.
Also, recognizing Rubio as an effective communicator of conservative ideals, it looks like he is now being targeted .. by the birthers.

Just as I predicted in my July 24th post, Texas Governor Rick Perry made his announcement today that he is in the race for the presidency. Ok, so I was off by a few hours.
“I full well believe I’m going to win,” Perry told South Carolina voters on a conference call about an hour before he kicked off the campaign with a speech in Charleston.
Now that Perry is in the race, lets see who the top three contenders will be. I’m guessing that Perry will be the front runner followed by Romney and Bachman. I’m afraid my pick, Herman Cain may be in trouble now that Perry is in.
This election just got very, very interesting. Now we can watch the Obamamedia begin their attack on Perry by merging him with the Tea Party folks, as if that’s a bad thing. Hell, what else can they do? His economic record in Texas speaks for itself. If the only negative thing the Obamamedia can connect Rick Perry with is the Tea Party, then Perry may become our next president.
As far as the straw poll goes, yes he probably pissed off some Republicans by taking the limelight off of Ames Iowa, but does it really matter? I think it was a good move on Perry’s part, although I thought he would wait until after the poll results came out to keep some of the heat off him from the Republicans.
Perry is expected to visit Iowa on Sunday, probably to mend some fences after today’s announcement. One thing is for sure, this race just got real interesting. – John Roycroft
Good news for Herman Cain – After the release of the latest Gallup polls Herman Cain received the highest positive intensity score out of all of the GOP candidates and potential candidates.
With about 50% of respondents actually knowing who Herman Cain is, he has the strongest positive intensity score of about a 25 which is four points higher than the next two candidates, Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry. Even though Rick Perry is not a declared candidate. Not so good news for Tim Pawlenty, who scored barely above a 10 on the scale.
Oh and by the way – Watch for Rick Perry to be making his announcement shortly after the Iowa Straw Pole results come out. You heard it first right here – JRoycroft
The assault is on. Looks like Michelle Bachmann has some health issues that the ObamaMedia is surely going to use against her.
“She has terrible migraine headaches. And they put her out of commission for a day or more at a time. They come out of nowhere, and they’re unpredictable,” says an adviser to Bachmann who was involved in her 2010 congressional campaign. “They level her. They put her down. It’s actually sad. It’s very painful.”
“When she gets ‘em, frankly, she can’t function at all. It’s not like a little thing with a couple Advils. It’s bad,” the adviser says. “The migraines are so bad and so intense, she carries and takes all sorts of pills. Prevention
pills. Pills during the migraine. Pills after the migraine, to keep them under control. She has to take these pills wherever she goes.”

I have developed many strategic plans for success throughout my 40 years of business experience, but the one I am about to present for the nation is the most humbling. Business strategic plans had to capture the keys to profitability and growth. This national economic vision must capture the keys to prosperity for everyone who has a desire to achieve their American dreams.
It starts with education, then a job, and then a career.
People who achieve “success” are able to get beyond day-to-day survival. They find a way to thrive, constantly looking for that next exciting opportunity. This thrive attitude can be rekindled here in this great country, because we have the resources, the ingenuity and that spirit of America that has allowed us to survive during hard times, and thrive when times were better.
Although our public education system has its challenges, we have seen time and time again pockets of excellence where students have defied the odds, when given a chance, to go on and find that elusive success. These exceptions along with the many private and homeschooling success stories are the nucleus for rekindling a results-driven economy.
As my dad and others showed during their generation, a good dose of common sense can go a long way to supplement any deficiencies in formal education if the opportunities are there for someone to better themselves.
For nearly 15 million people, that ladder of opportunity is not there right now. They can’t find a job. By unleashing the full economic potential of our economy, we would ensure there would be a job for every home, and a career opportunity from every job.
This economic vision must start with some economic guiding principles (EGP). As the saying goes, if you do not know where you are going, you will get there. We know where we are going. We’re headed to a thriving land of opportunity.
EGP #1: Production must precede consumption
You can’t spend your way to prosperity. The Obama Administration has shown that this does not work. Most families knew that it would not work because it does not work for a household. My dad had to produce enough cash for a down payment to buy his first home before he could get the keys to the new house. He had to work three jobs at times to produce enough cash, but he did it!
Production is the engine of any economic train, and consumption is the caboose. Before someone consumes, they must produce. The nearly $1 trillion in stimulus spending went into the caboose. They did not help fuel the real engine of the economy.
The engine of our economy is the business sector. It has received only disdain and lectures from the Obama Administration, instead of fuel in the form of lower taxes, less reduced barriers and more certainty about less government. (Specifics will follow in next week’s commentary.)
EGP #2: Economic growth is the result of risk-taking
Entrepreneurial spirit drives economic growth. Risk-taking is the expenditure of time, effort, resources, capital, creativity, energy and passion, all with the expectation that it will pay off, but with no guarantee it will do so. At the risk of his health, my dad worked three jobs with not enough sleep and rest, and little recreational time. It was his choice with the only kind of equity he had, sweat equity. It paid off for him. He achieved his American dreams. One of them is running for president of the United States of America.
Risk-taking is also the willingness to invest your capital in the ideas of others. It is the lifeblood of our economy. A capital gains tax is a wall between people with money and people with ideas. Remove the wall and more ideas will get financed, and more jobs will be created. It is the spirit of America.
When the economy is not growing, we must reduce the impediments to growth and increase the incentives to risk-taking. It feeds the engine. Regulatory burdens, trade restrictions and policy uncertainty all make it more difficult for an idea to get off the ground and the result is less economic growth.
EGP #3: Measurements must be dependable
Imagine what life would be like if we had to wake up in the morning and check the newspaper to find out whether the hour closed at 60 minutes, whether a foot closed at 12 inches, or whether a pound was still 16 ounces.
The economy would be filled with too much uncertainty and eventually become dysfunctional. But that’s exactly what is happening with the most important financial unit of measure in the world, the dollar.
It took my dad 12 years to save enough cash to buy that first house. He did it with the expectation that the value of the dollar would be pretty close to what it was when he started saving. It was, because this nation did not have the deficits we have today, which is forcing inflation and a weaker dollar.
The most solemn pledge a government can make to its citizens is to maintain the value of the currency. The 3rd EGP states that units of measure must be dependable. Dramatically reducing our national debt is the key to stabilizing the value of our dollar.
Prosperity is the natural state of our free-market economy if we get government out of the way, off our backs and out of our pockets. Prosperity begins with production. It requires risk-taking and a stable measure of exchange.
Good economic policy is guided by good principles, not politics.
It’s common sense.
